Domain name server

Domain name server(DNS) is a set of protocol to exchange data on the internet. The main purpose of DNS is to turn the domain name into IP address. A System uses this IP address to connect to the site.Domain name servers throughout the internet are collected and stored in a common location called Central registry. The internet – service providers interact with this central registry to fetch the details about any DNS.DNS itself is a complete network. If a DNS server could not find the IP of a particular domain name, then it translates the domain to another server until the correct IP is returned.
