MySQL cluster is a shared nothing clustering for the MySQL database system. MySQL Cluster is a technology which provides shared-nothing clustering and auto-sharing options for MySQL DBMS. It is used for its high availability and high-throughput with its low latency while it also allows near linear scalability. It is usually implemented through the NDB or NDBCLUSTER storage engine.
