NTP Server

NTP stands for “Network Time Protocol” that allows the time synchronization of networks for an accurate time. This avoids inconsistent time issues, mainly on the log files of clients and servers. The two major categories of NTP server are primary reference server and secondary reference server. Primary reference servers offer time like radio clocks or GPS. Secondary reference servers are synchronized with primary reference servers, and their accuracy is often less, when compared to the primary servers.
