Php-fpm stands for Php FastCGI Process Manager, which responds to the requests of CGI. It enables the webserver to direct the requests to port 9000 and then the webserver configuration file needs to be changed appropriately.Some of the unique features are stderr and stdout logging, enhanced process management and adaptive process spawning.
