Samba

Samba is a free software, which offers file and print services to the clients of CIFS/SMB. It uses the TCP/IP protocol, which is available on the host server. It facilitates the interaction of host with a Microsoft Windows server or a client. It offers flexibility, reliability, better configuration and easy setup. Its maintenance cost is comparatively low, but ensures a high performance. Samba server can be installed with the help of yum command.
