thttpd (tiny-turbo-throttling HTTP server)

thttpd (tiny-turbo-throttling HTTP daemon) is generally used for serving high volume requests. In thttpd, maximum bit rate at which files may be transferred can be fixed using bandwidth throttling. thttpd has a very small run size and supports HTTP/1.1, IPv6, CGI 1.1. thttpd can also be used to serve multiple hostnames using a single machine. thttpd runs on FreeBSD, SunOS, Solaris and Linux.
