WSGI, expanded as Web Server Gateway Interface, is a standard which describes the way a web server interacts with web applications. , Being a specification for interface between web servers and web applications or frameworks for the Python programming language, WSGI was originally specified in PEP 333. WSGI also specifies the way web applications can be chained together to process one request. There are two sides to WSGI – server/Gateway and application/framework.
