du command

du command can be used along with the parameters to view the result in any format of our choice. It also displays the files and directories in a recursive manner. If du command is used with no arguments, it displays the names and space consumption of any directory starting with the current directory. du command is also used to display the directory size, size of specified directories, and to display output without the summary flag.
