fsck

Expanded as File System Consistency Check, fsck is deployed to check and repair the filesystems which are present in Linux. If the last file check was done a long time ago, the system runs fsck during the boot time to check for the file system’s consistency. A user can run fsck on either all the filesytems or a specific one.
