grep

grep is a utility to search a set of texts in a regular expression.grep searches the set of lines in the entire file and pull those lines into a standard output. It has no limits on outputs, but the only constrain is the memory. grep can be called by using the syntax: grep options pattern input_files_names. Syntax: grep <options> <patterns> <file-name>
