Locate command

The syntax for the command is locate [OPTION] . . . PATTERN . . .With the help of locate command, the user can able to sort files by their name. When the user enters the command, their system will undergo a process of searching new files. After searching them, it stores that in a particular database. The command reads the databases and then writes the matching file names.
