mv command

mv command is similar to cp command, but it doesn’t take any copy or duplicate of the files and directories. The user can move multiple files from one location to another. While renaming the file and directories the destination location must be same with source location. If user wants to move files to a different location by using the mv command, write permission is required for the directories.Syntax of mv command is “mv [options] sourcefiles destdir”.
