Nmcli

The nmcli tool has an interactive connection editor. The command line tool nmcli can be used by both users and scripts for controlling NetworkManager. It can be used to start and stop any network interface, including masters, to configure static routes using the nmcli tool, for controlling NetworkManager and getting its status from command line, to integrate network configuration into scripts. It can be utilized as a replacement for nm-applet or other graphical clients. nmcli is used to create, display, edit, delete, activate, and deactivate network connections, as well as control and display network device status. nmcli can be used to control NetworkManager without a GUI, including creating, editing, starting and stopping network connections and viewing network status, Connect/disconnect to an already configured connection, Managing Wifi, Connect/disconnect Network interfaces,
