Vmstat

vmstat is a computer system monitoring tool that collects and displays summary information about operating system memory, processes, interrupts, paging and block I/O.The vmstat tool is reports information about processes, memory, paging, block IO, traps and CPU activity. The first report produced gives average since the last reboot. They give information on a sampling period of length delay.
