yum utils is a collection of tools or programs to manage YUM repositories. yum utils is useful during the installation of debug packages, souce package, admin and in extended info from repo. yum utils is an assortment of tools such as the debuginfo – install, package –cleanup, find – repos –of – install, yum –configure manager, yum – debug –restore etc.
