vMotion

The vMotion is a component of VMware vSphere that allows the live migration of a running VM file system from one storage system to another. This migration maintains the data integrity. The migrating VM’s metadata is copied to alternate storage location. The migrated data copies the VM’s disk file to new location to preserve the data integrity when the replication occurs
