BREACH stands for Browser Reconnaissance & Exfiltration via Adaptive Compression of Hypertext. It is built based on the CRIME security exploit. The data breach exploits the combination of data compression and encryption. It is widely used by the websites during transmission to accelerate the page load times, bandwidth and security. It allows the hackers to extract login credentials, email addresses and other sensitive information.
