Plone CMS is used to create and manage web content like web sites, blogs etc. Plone stores its contents in built in Zope transactional object database, the ZODB. Plone CMS is available for Windows, Mac OS, Solaris, BSD and Linux. Plone CMS offers Flexible Workflows, Limitless Extensibility, Scalability, Multi-site Management, support for LDAP, AD, Kereberos, support for Cascading Style Sheets, Pluggable Authentication Service (PAS) and Authentication and Single Sign On.
