How to create Online Event on Odoo
For over a period of two weeks, we have been dicussing about various applications in Odoo. Today, in this tutorial you will be briefed about Online Events, an app available on Odoo, and the method to use it. This application is used to create online events or social events that will happen in an organization and it is greatly helpful to create the events within few minutes. You can also reach out to employees about the upcoming events in the website' s home page.
EVENT CREATION- ODOO
To start with the installation procedure, Go to the list of applications in Odoo and check whether the event creation is installed or not. If it is not installed, install it the Odoo. Next, Go to the events tab on the header and click “ create’ tab to create a new event.
Provide all your event details like Location, Organizer, and maximum attendees and confirm your event.
The tab on the upper right corner which contains the stages of the event gets changed from “ unconfirmed" to “ confirmed” .
Then customize your event settings on par with the event and give “ apply” option.
Your upcoming event gets displayed on your company website' s home page to intimate of the event to all of your employees.

Initial balance for an account is managed by creating a journal entry for the account. For example, if we have 10000 INR in our bank account. First, create an account with type equity. Then create a journal entry with bank journal. Now credit 10000 in your newly created opening account and debit it from default bank account.
