How to install Pogo in Ubuntu

To install Pogo in Ubuntu

Pogo is an open source decibel based music player designed with clean interface for Linux users. It is designed with advanced features including fast search on the hard drive and playlist, smart album grouping, cover display, desktop notifications. Installation of Pogo in Ubuntu is discussed in this manual.

Installation of Pogo

First you need to add the repository to install Pogo application.

root@linuxhelp1:~# add-apt-repository ppa:pogo-dev/stable
 This PPA contains stable Pogo builds.

Installation instructions for the terminal:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:pogo-dev/stable
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install pogo

Alternatively you can add ppa:pogo-dev/stable to your system' s Software Sources in the Ubuntu Software-Center.

Open the pogo application through the Unity dashboard as shown below.

Start access your favourite pogo application.

To uninstall Pogo package

Run the below command to remove the Pogo package.
