Answer
Use either of the below commands:
echo $0
or
echo $SHELL
Apart these many commands may used.....
And to change the shell,
chsh -s [shell_location]

When I try changing shell got following output but remains the same, not changed....
Changing shell for root.
Shell changed.

Reboot the system to take effect and try it will be changed.....!!!
