How to install Calligra Office Suite in Ubuntu

To install Calligra Office Suite in Ubuntu

Calligra is an open source application for Linux distributions. It allows the users to create documents like word sheets, excel sheets and Power point presentation. The Calligra application is similar to Libre office and MS Office in windows. Installation of Calligra office suite in Ubuntu is discussed in this article.

Installation of Calligra Office Suite

First add the required repositories with the following command.

root@linuxhelp:~# add-apt-repository ppa:kubuntu-ppa/backports
 Backports of new versions of KDE Platform, Plasma and Applcations as well as major KDE apps for Kubuntu.
 More info: https://launchpad.net/~kubuntu-ppa/+archive/ubuntu/backports
