To Install Bludit CMS on Ubuntu 21.04
Introduction
The content management system is the software that is used to manage digital content. Bludit is a flat-file CMS that stores content and information in JSON format and also allows users to build websites and blogs without installing or setting up databases for building websites.
Prerequisites:
• Apache Web server
• PHP and its Modules
Step 1: Check the OS version by using the following command

Codename: hirsute
Step 2: Download the bludit CMS by using the following command
root@linuxhelp:~# wget https://www.bludit.com/releases/bludit-3-8-1.zip

Step 3: Extract the downloaded file in bludit directory

Step 4: Move the Extracted files to the Apache home directory
root@linuxhelp:~# mv bludit-3-8-1 /var/www/bludit
Step 5: Change the Ownership to the bludit directory
root@linuxhelp:~# chown -R www-data. /var/www/bludit/
Step 6: Change Permissions to the bludit directory
root@linuxhelp:~# chmod -R 775 /var/www/bludit/
Step 7: Create Virtual Host for the bludit CMS
root@linuxhelp:~# vi /etc/apache2/sites-available/bludit.conf
<virtualhost *:80>
servername www.linuxhelp1.com
documentroot /var/www/bludit
<Directory /var/www/bludit>
AllowOverride All
allow from all
</Directory>
</virtualhost>
Step 8: Disable the default Virtual Host file of apache
root@linuxhelp:~# a2dissite 000-default.conf
Site 000-default disabled.
To activate the new configuration, you need to run:
systemctl reload apache2
Step 9: Enable the Virtual Host
root@linuxhelp:~# a2ensite bludit.conf
Enabling site bludit.
To activate the new configuration, you need to run:
systemctl reload apache2
Step 10: Enable the read write module of apache
root@linuxhelp:~# a2enmod rewrite
Enabling module rewrite.
To activate the new configuration, you need to run:
systemctl restart apache2
Step 11: Restart the apache webserver
root@linuxhelp:~# systemctl restart apache2
Step 12: Make host entry for bludit CMS
root@linuxhelp:~# vi /etc/hosts
192.168.6.115 www.linuxhelp1.com
Step 13: Ping server name in browser
Step 14: Configure the Admin credentials
Step 15: Login via Admin panel
Step 16: Admin Dashboard of omeka CMS
By this the installation of Bludit CMS on Ubuntu 21.04 comes to an end
