How to install Darktable 2.2.5 on Ubuntu 17.04

Darktable is cross-platform, open source photography workflow application and RAW file processor whose front end is written in GTK+, C and SQLite is used as database. The digital negatives are managed in a database by Darktable and they can be viewed using a zoomable light table. Raw images can also be developed using Darktable. All editing done using Darktable is completely non-destructive. This tutorial will explain on how to install Darktable 2.2.5 on Ubuntu 17.04.

Installation procedure

To start the installation procedure, add the Darktable dependency package into repository by executing the following command.
