EasyTAG is a open source ,simple, cross-platform application for audio tag editor written in C and GTK+ for handling graphics handling respectively. It supports MP3, MP2, MP4/AAC, FLAC, Ogg Opus, Ogg Speex, Ogg Vorbis, MusePack, Monkey’ s Audio, and WavPack files. It is so simple to install Easytag on Ubuntu 16.04, and this tutorial covers the ground on the same process.

Installing Easytag

Before you begin the installation process, you need to add the repo for EasyTAG in your system. So, run the following command for the same purpose.

root@linuxhelp:~# add-apt-repository ppa:amigadave/ppa
 The latest stable builds of EasyTAG.

Once its done, you need to update the newly added repository.
