To Install Gis-Weather On ubuntu 16.04

Gis-Weather is a highly customizable widget tool for Linux desktop, and it easily displays detailed weather forecast. The app ships with optional Ubuntu AppIndicator / tray icon which displays the current weather. You can add more number of locations by right-clicking and by choosing to display weather information on the widget. It allows you to change its appearance (background, icons, text, and window settings), display on all desktops, lock position to the desktop, choose preset themes for widgets and more customization can be done from its preferences. Installing Gis-Weather

In order to install Gis-Weather, make sure you add the necessary repository, and for that you should run the following command.

Your application has been installed. You can launch it from your Ubuntu dashboard. Just type the name of the application on the desktop search field, the application icon gets displayed on the screen. Just click on it to launch it.

The application is now open, you shall give the city code and click add.

Click on the close option and reload it.

The weather condition of the selected city is now displayed on the screen.

You can check out the Gis-Weather application from the About option.
