Installing HandBrake

Before you start with the installation, you need to add the repo to the sources.list configuration file. Run the following command which opens the sources.list file.

root@debian:~# nano /etc/apt/sources.list

Now add these lines at end of the file.

deb http://deb.debian.org/debian/ stable main contrib non-free
deb-src http://deb.debian.org/debian/ stable main contrib non-free

deb http://deb.debian.org/debian/ stable-updates main contrib non-free
deb-src http://deb.debian.org/debian/ stable-updates main contrib non-free

deb http://deb.debian.org/debian-security stable/updates main
deb-src http://deb.debian.org/debian-security stable/updates main

deb http://ftp.debian.org/debian stretch-backports main
deb-src http://ftp.debian.org/debian stretch-backports main

After adding, save it and exit from the file.

You also need to update the apt sources.list file after that. Run the following command for the same purpose.
