Harmony Music Player is a plugin based music player with easy to use User Interface (UI) along with cloud compatibility. The plugins are available for most of the top cloud based music streaming services such as Spotify, SoundCloud, Google Play Music, Hype Machine, Deezer, as well as support for local files. This tutorial covers the installation procedure of Harmony Music player on Ubuntu 17.04.
Installation procedure
To proceed with the installation procedure, install the gdebi installer to install harmony' s debian file. Run the following command to install the gdebi installer.
root@linuxhelp1:~# apt-get install gdebi

The gdebi installer is downloaded. Next download the Harmony Music Player by running the wget command followed by the download link.

The Harmony music player has been installed. Now switch over to the Ubuntu dashboard and type harmony. Click on the icon to run the application.
The harmony music player is running successfully. It contains a list of music players such as Deezer, Play Music, Last.fm, Local tracks and SoundCloud.
Choose the plugins and select the song to be played in Harmony music player.
