Krita is a raster graphics editor based on Qt 5 and the KDE Frameworks 5 and is designed to be a digital painting application. Krita contains key features like the ability to work with both bitmap and vector illustration. This tutorial will explain on how to install krita on Ubuntu.

Installation procedure

To start the installation procedure, add the krita package into repository via ppa.

The repositories has been added to the target machine. Update the machine by executing the apt-get update command.
