How to install LMMS on Ubuntu

LMMS is a free and cross-platform music creation application similar to FL Studio in functionality. Using LMMS you can produce and remix music. To install LMMS

Download the LMMS installation package by invoking the following command.

Once the package is downloaded, you can install it by running the following command. 

root@linuxhelp:/home/user1# dpkg -i lmms_1.0.0+stable-0ubuntu1_amd64.deb

LMMS has been installed. Open the application by searching it through Ubuntu dashboard and launch it.
