Installing QuiteRSS

Before installing QuiteRSS, make sure that you have added the repository in the sources-list. Use the following command for the same purpose.

root@linuxhelp:~# nano /etc/apt/sources.list

Once it is added, edit the file by adding the following lines to its end.

deb http://ftp.debian.org/debian/ stable main contrib non-free
deb http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian jessie main

Once you are through it, press ctrl+x and Y to save and then press enter to exit the file.


Now update the the apt sources.list as follows.

Now that the installation is complete, use the Activities search bar to launch the application.

The QuiteRSS application appears on your screen.
