How to install uGet Download Manager 2.0
To install uGet Download Manager 2.0 in Linux Mint, Debian, Fedora and Ubuntu
In this article we are going to discuss about the steps to install uGet 2.0. Some of its new features including, Help Menu enhancements, Check for Updates, Major browsers are added i.e., Firefox and Google Chrome, Message Banner and Increase support for FlashGot.
What is called uGet?
UrlGfe is a download manager application based on GTK.

- Downloads Queue: Just add all your downloads into a queue, If one completed then it will start the next download automatically.

- Aria2 Plugin: It gives more user friendly Graphical user interface.

In Debian
On Debian Unstable and Debian Testing, using official repository on a fairly reliable basis, you can easily install and upgrade.
sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install uget
In Ubuntu & Linux Mint
Using PPA repository ppa:plushuang-tw/uget-stable, you can install and upgrade latest version automatically.
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:plushuang-tw/uget-stable sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install uget
In Fedora
You can install the latest version of uGet (2.0) easily from official repositories.

In older version of Linux Mint, Debian, Fedora and Ubuntu, can install uGet. But in available version is 1.10.4. For upgraded version you have to update your system.
To Install aria2 plugin
It helps to get more functionality like torrent files, multi-protocol and meta links.
In Debian, Ubuntu and Linux Mint
Installation of latest version of arial2 using below commands.
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:t-tujikawa/ppa sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install aria2
In Fedora
You can easy to install using yum command.

Go to desktop menu and search “ uget”
