Installation of zimplit cms on Ubuntu 18.10

Installation procedure

You need to configure the LAMP setup For the Installation of zimplit CMS If you dont have the Lamp setup Refer Here

Check the ubuntu version by using the following command

root@linuxhelp:~# lsb_release -a

Distributor ID:	Ubuntu
Description:	Ubuntu 18.10
Release:	18.10
Codename:	cosmic

Download the zimplit installation package by using the wget command.

root@linuxhelp:~# wget https://github.com/niutech/zimplitcms/archive/3.0.zip

Once the above step is completed extract the downloaded package using unzip command

Move the zimplit cms directory to apache root directory by using the following command
root@linuxhelp:~# mv zimplitcms-3.0 /var/www/zimplit

Change the ownership and permission for zimplit cms by using the following command

root@linuxhelp:~# chown -R www-data.www-data /var/www/zimplit

root@linuxhelp:~# chmod -R 775 /var/www/zimplit

configure the Apache VirtualHost for accessing the zimplit cms by using the command

root@linuxhelp:~# vim /etc/apache2/sites-available/zimplit.conf
<Virtualhost *:80>
  Servername www.linuxhelp1.com
	documentroot /var/www/zimplit
</Virtualhost>

root@linuxhelp:~# a2dissite 000-default.conf
Site 000-default disabled.
To activate the new configuration, you need to run:
  systemctl reload apache2

root@linuxhelp:~# a2ensite zimplit.conf
Enabling site zimplit.
To activate the new configuration, you need to run:
  systemctl reload apache2

root@linuxhelp:~# a2enmod rewrite
Enabling module rewrite.
To activate the new configuration, you need to run:
  systemctl restart apache2

root@linuxhelp:~# systemctl restart apache2
