FAQ
Q
Is Xrdp encrypted?
A
Xrdp currently supports all 3 encryption levels via the xrdp. ini file.
Q
Is Xrdp safe to use?
A
Xrdp is a way easy to use in place of other tools because no additional package is required for this
Q
Is Xrdp faster than VNC?
A
The main goal of RDP is resource sharing, not screen sharing. For that reason, it provides a much faster and more efficient way of accessing a remote computer.
Q
Does Xrdp support multiple users?
A
By default, Xrdp will only allow a single session per user account.
Q
What is the difference between RDP and Xrdp?
A
FreeRDP is an implementation of the remote desktop protocol to connect to RDP-Servers.
XRDP is server software to allow other clients to connect to the system using an rdp client.
