Answer
first search the dependency package for whois command by using yum whatprovides bin/whois then it show its dependency package. After founded the dependency now it's time to install using yum install jwhois.

when i run whois command on my centos 6.7 minimal it shows.
-bash: whois command not found . how to run whois command please help me.
