Answer
To enable logging option in dhcp you need to put the below entry in your dhcpd.conf file
log-facility local7;
then restart your dhcp service, after that you can check your log information on /var/log/messages file

dhcp : log file not found
Hello there i have recently configured a dhcp server on my network and it is working good, and i was searching for a log file for the dhcp daemon, but i can' t find any. How do i configure a log file for my dhcp daemon? Please help
