check your block using mdadm -E /dev/sdb or just try using lsblk command these two methods will help you..

How to check if drive configured RAID
hello am new to configure RAID patition in linux. before start configure RAID partition how to check my hard drive status whether the block is free or already RAID configured or any other partitions is configured.......?
