Try re-formatting your USB Stick using windows machine or any third party software to format a USB drive like sd card formatter or anything else, or else you can simply use linux command to format your usb using fdisk command

pendrive size got reduced while linux usb boot
Hi when i was trying to install a linux operating system i got booted the operating system on to my USB device after that i found (my USB Stick has total 8 Gigs) it got reduced to 2 Gigs in size. Why? what happened to my usb stick? How can i retrive my size back, i tried formatting the device on my windows mahcine, but no use. it' s really frustrating
